Our Mission: To deliver immediate, confidential financial relief and benevolent assistance to Indiana dental professionals and their families facing extreme hardship or catastrophic life events. Our Vision: A compassionate, united professional community where no Indiana dental practitioner or family faces crisis without emergency support and financial relief.

Indiana Dental Association Relief Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit benevolent organization dedicated to supporting members of the dental community across Indiana during times of personal crisis, severe hardship, or sudden tragedy. Headquartered in Indianapolis, the fund serves as a compassionate safety net for dentists, dental team members, and their families. Led by Executive Director Douglas Bush, the Relief Fund reflects the core values of professional solidarity and philanthropic care. By providing financial grants to those experiencing debilitating illness, accidents, natural disasters, or unexpected loss, the fund helps colleagues maintain financial stability and dignity through difficult circumstances.

Core Operational Focus Areas

Emergency Hardship Grants. We provide direct monetary assistance to qualified dentists and dental personnel struggling with acute financial distress resulting from medical emergencies, physical disability, or prolonged illness.

Disaster Relief & Recovery Assistance. In times of natural disaster, severe property destruction, or unexpected practice interruption, our fund offers rapid emergency relief grants to assist practitioners with immediate living and recovery expenses.

Family & Survivor Support. We provide compassionate financial aid to surviving spouses and dependents of deceased dental professionals, helping families navigate immediate financial transitions.

Well-Being & Professional Assistance Co-Support. We collaborate with professional wellness networks across Indiana to ensure colleagues facing severe personal challenges receive holistic care, peer guidance, and confidential support.

Fiduciary Governance & Benevolent Stewardship

Fiduciary Integrity & Donor Transparency. As a registered 501(c)(3) public charity, Indiana Dental Association Relief Fund manages all financial contributions with complete transparency and rigorous governance. Every donated dollar is stewarded strictly to fulfill the fund's benevolent mission.

Confidential Application & Review Process. We maintain the highest standards of privacy and discretion. All relief applications and financial grant requests are evaluated by a dedicated committee through a confidential review framework.

Charitable Contributions & Peer Giving. Supported through peer donations, memorial gifts, individual bequests, and IDA component contributions, the fund provides a meaningful avenue for Indiana dentists to support colleagues in need.
